This lush tropical oasis can be found in the high desert of Palm Springs, California, under its towering namesake palms. Waterscapes Inc. constructed a 2-acre lake with cascading water features at both ends to assist in total water recirculation. The Montana White Travertine used for the home is nicely contrasted by dark native desert boulders. This lake has a poured concrete and textured edge providing a clean transition to the well-manicured lawn. The waterfalls are complemented by extraordinary, colorful plantings.
