East Vail, Colorado
This spectacular mountain home overlooks the seventh hole of the Vail golf course.
Waterscapes Inc. teamed with local architects Burgland and Associates to create a magnificent set of waterfalls that provide the focal point that initiates inside the house and terminates along the patio below. Not an easy feat in an area that receives 200 inches of annual snowfall! The glass walls allow the residents to visually admire the large dropping cascade well and listen to the subtle sounds from the indoor bubbling brook.
A mixed blend of five types of flagstones is incorporated to match the exterior of the home. The system is built for exceptionally low maintenance with easy drains and cleanouts to accommodate the owner’s part-time residency.
This project has won several national awards and has been featured in nearly all of the local magazines, as well as in Architectural Digest, Lux, Mountain Living, and Colorado Homes and Lifestyles.
